WELCOME, EVERYONE!

After a long-awaited break, we are finally back! The Spring Championship kicks off this Sunday with a brand-new, exciting format. We have had many discussions with team representatives and know that many are tired of the classic championship format, where every team plays against each other. That’s why this season, we have prepared a completely new system!

How will the championship be played?

The tournament will take place in three stages:

1. Qualification

We have many new teams, and we don’t know their level yet. To create balanced divisions, we are introducing a qualifying stage.

Teams will be placed into pots based on a ranking system that we will compile. Tomorrow evening, a live draw will take place, where one team from each pot will be randomly selected, forming groups of 4 teams. In the group stage, each team will play 3 matches, and based on the results, they will be placed into the appropriate division for the season.

2. Main Stage

After qualification, teams will be divided into divisions. This season, each league will consist of 8 teams (instead of 10, as before).

In the group stage, each team will play against every other team once, resulting in 7 matches.

3. Playoffs

After the group stage, the table will be split into two parts:

• The top 4 teams advance to the playoffs and compete for the championship trophy.

• The remaining 4 teams battle in the Prestige Cup, where only one team will be crowned the winner.

Thus, this season, each team will play 12 matches!

Why is the new format great?

• Balanced leagues

Teams are placed in divisions based on their actual performance on the field. Now, qualification for a league is determined solely by results.

• More competition

Each team will play against all others in its league, but the real fight continues into the final stage.

• Excitement until the very end

Even if a team is not competing for the top spots, it still has the motivation to fight for the Prestige Cup.

Many teams lose motivation in the final rounds when stuck at the bottom of the table, but now, there’s an incentive to battle until the very last match!
